In this role you will play a key role in supporting our Cardiovascular business units and their respective field teams in managing seamlessly the consignment inventory process across Queensland and New Zealand.Come join and grow your career with Medtronic, an organization that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress and deliver meaningful innovations.Reporting to the Strategic Planning Director, the Field Inventory Analyst will demonstrate cross functional collaboration and communication in consignment inventory management and backorder management.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:To work with the field team to ensure that SAP accurately reflects what is at consignment stock locationsAssist supply chain / Marketing with consignment requirements during phase-in/phase-out situationsManagement of obsolescence / expired stockAssist with continued process improvements around the consignment management process.Work with the respective business units to setup PAR levelsCarry out analysis on the appropriate field stock levelsConducts physical inventory countsSupport and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and efficiencyEnsure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirementsChampion best practices in inventory control and contribute to process improvement projectsRequired Knowledge and Experience:Bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience in inventory control requiredExperience or willingness to operate in a customer facing role is essentialWillingness to travel as required for the role (20-25% in Brisbane)Experience with SAP is an advantagePhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package
