- Steppingstone to Internal Sales Rep or Account Mngt Role
- Processing customer orders received by phone, fax, email or counter
- Identifying customer needs re deliveries, products, stock availability, pricing, etc.
- Handling customer complaints in a professional manner; investigate, negotiate and respond in a timely manner
- Processing of customer payments by phone or counter
- Maintaining flexibility in handling ongoing customer sales related queries by directing technical
- Processing and follow-up of quotes relating to a sale
- Maintain and update and/or notify Team leader/Office Manager of changes to customer contact details
- Recording, matching, checking and filing accounts, invoices, orders, requisitions, end of day banking, etc
- Provide back-up support for any position within the Branch when required (subject to relevant skills and knowledge of the role)
