  • Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports, including commentaries, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and general ledger reviews.
  • Maintain and update the asset register, and perform principals reconciliation.
  • Support budgeting activities and manage the 10-year financial model, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Review and approve capital project expenditures and prepayment purchase orders, ensuring budget controls are maintained.
  • Assist with internal audits, financial administration, and compliance reporting such as ABS surveys.
  • Provide backup support for accounts receivable and perform other duties as requested by management or the School.
The Successful ApplicantA successful Management Accountant should have:
  • CPA or CA Qualified.
  • Strong numeracy, analytical thinking, and sound understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to interpret legislation and apply it effectively in financial contexts.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • Highly adaptable to change, with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving.
  • Skilled in managing competing priorities and planning workload efficiently.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
  • Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
