
Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

- Act as a liaison between Product Engineering, R&D and Operations
- Learn processes, tools, systems used by Engineering, R&D and Manufacturing
- Configures the products according to the requirements or product change requests.
- Documenting critical manufacturing processes and implementing Standard operating Procedures
- Partner with Engineering and R&D to ensure new products are being designed for manufacturing and suitable for factory
- Assist Sales and end customers to expedite products when required while documenting changes for tracking and traceability
- Implement LEAN manufacturing principles to improve shopfloor productivity
- Review designs for design for manufacturing and design for maintenance perspective and provide constructive feedback.
- Create Manufacturing Bill of Materials in ERP systems and ensure Product build is always as per Engineering requirements and approvals.
- Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering. Similar qualifications may be accepted.
- AS1100 knowledge essential.
- Mechanical drafting and manufacturing experience essential: metal fabrication, sheet metal, machining detail, threads, and welding designations.
- 3D experience essential.
- The ability to apply engineering first principles such as stress analysis and analysis of materials and finishes.
- Experience working with an ERP system is a plus, experience with SAP is preferred
