And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionThe Senior Proposal Engineer develops technical and commercial proposals for the assessment, design, implementation, and management of Solutions and Services offerings tailored to customer needs.You will support Rockwell Automation Lifecycle Services' business and financial goals by delivering compliant, high-quality proposals. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Proposal Engineer collaborates with Sales, Departments, distributor and teams across the region to explain the value of Rockwell Automation's portfolio.Your Responsibilities:Proposal Development & ExecutionLead the development of detailed, customised proposals for Industrial Automation, Networks, and cybersecurity Services.Accomplish proposal activities including technical assessment, risk identification and mitigation, proposal generation, approvals, and order entry.Ensure proposals meet defined margin and compliance requirements.Deliver accurate, professional proposals within expected timeframes.Collaboration & CommunicationWork with Sales, Solution Consultants, Engineering, Field Services, Operations, Commercial & Negotiation (C&N), Finance, and Credit Management teams.Be a primary contact for Sales and Teams during the proposal phase.Address customer queries and provide technical clarifications.Review and interpret commercial terms and conditions, including corporate agreements.Solution Design & Cost EstimationDesign solutions aligned with client specifications and industry best practices.Develop accurate cost estimates considering materials, labour, and project-related expenses.Ensure task completion.Technical ExpertiseHave in-depth knowledge of Industrial Automation, Networks, and Services including assessments, design, deployment, and management.Understand and support proposals involving network and cybersecurity offerings, including basic network assessments, data centres, and support services.Risk & Quality ManagementConduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.Ensure accuracy in all technical content.Collaborate with quality assurance to meet internal standards.Continuous ImprovementStay updated on trends in cybersecurity and industrial automation.Provide feedback for process improvements in the proposal cycle.Lead standardisation of proposals and tools for network and cybersecurity solutions.Success IndicatorsDeliver accurate, high-quality proposals.Proposals align with margin targets, compliance standards and internal processes.Support business growth and strategic projects.The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in EngineeringPreferably in a network-related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in proposal/project engineering within industrial automation.Technical knowledge of automation technologies (PLCs, DCS, drives).·Understanding of cost structures, pricing strategies, and margin analysis is critical.You will be asked to use MS office toolsThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:Command on contract terms & conditionsCollaborative mindset.·Fluent in English (written and spoken)adaptable communication style.·Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with senior partners.What We Offer:Our benefits package includes …Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to CalmVolunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employeesCompany volunteer and donation matching program – Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation.Employee Assistance ProgramPersonalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack programOn-demand digital course library for professional development... and other local benefits!At Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
