Provide operational support and guidance to Management in the development and maintenance of best practice freight and logistics services. This role is responsible for coordinating daily freight processes while continuously seeking opportunities to improve client service, streamline operations, and increase overall profitability.Knowledge & ExperienceStrong communication, interpersonal, and time management skillsForklift licence and experience not essential but an advantagePrevious experience in business systems and digital tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases, S2 or similar) highly regardedPrevious experience in warehouse or freight operations highly regardedKey ResponsibilitiesDistribution Services & OperationsLead and support the implementation of Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirementsOversee subcontractor drivers, ensuring contract compliance and route availabilityManage daily delivery runs, including manifest control and Sign-on-Glass (SOG) processesCommunicate proactively with administration when delays may impact client delivery timesMaintain and update the Carrier Selection Chart across all AWDS warehousesEnsure customer complaints are documented, resolved promptly, and handled professionallySupport warehouse operations to ensure orders are organised, packed, and distributed efficiently in line with WH&S standardsTrack and record all services for accurate charging and reportingObtain a minimum of two quotes for new services or non-urgent supplies before approvalLicences RequiredCurrent Driver’s LicenceForklift Licence (Counterbalance and Reach Truck)Job InformationSalary Periods: annumJob Reference: 197031Salary:Salary From: AU$65000Salary To: AU$70000Job Industries: Transport and RailJob Locations: Netley, Adelaide, AustraliaJob Types: PermanentJob Areas: Netley
