An exciting opportunity exists for two Senior Project Officers to play a key role in supporting the roll out and implementation of the new Increasing Community Use of School Facilities (ICUSF) Pilot Program.As part of the School Performance Division, South Western Victoria Region, the ICUSF Pilot team has been established to engage with 41 new schools and campuses in Melbourne's west, as well as local organisations, to increase the number of formal facility sharing arrangements in the community through the promoting of opportunities for shared use of facilities, supporting schools with managing and administering license agreements, and evaluating potential options to scale up the pilot program in the future.You will be working in a very dynamic space requiring a high level of communication and planning skills, exceptional stakeholder management practises, and an ability to work collaboratively and in an environment that encourages initiative and creative thinking. You will also contribute to the program evaluation process to explore to potential for program expansion at the conclusion of the pilot.About the RoleThis role is fixed term with commencement date on 10 November 2025 until 30 June 2027, located across any South Western Victoria regional office.The Senior Project Officer will report to the ICUSF Program Manager to ensure high quality and consistent approaches to the following:
Development and implementation of program communication and engagement plans for schools and community groups.
Identification of opportunities for increased formal arrangements between schools and community groups.
Robust data collation and reporting on program milestones.
Lead School and Community outreach to support achieving the strategic goals of the pilot.
Managing varied and complex stakeholder relationships, including issue resolution processes where required.

Project Delivery - Translates strategies into programs or projects that actively enable the achievement of outcomes. Defines the governance (e.g., success measures, roles and responsibilities, progress monitoring) required to manage risks and maximise success.
Qualifications and ExperienceThe successful applicant will be required to provide a current Working With Children Check.About the GroupSchools and Regional Services (SRS) offers central, regional, and local expertise to enhance learning and development outcomes, supported by a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce. It comprises 17 areas within 4 regions, backed by 5 central office divisions, all collaborating to deliver improved outcomes for early childhood services, schools, communities, and learners, in line with Education State commitments. SRS regions serve as a bridge between the central office, schools, and service providers, ensuring smooth transitions for learners and achieving the department's ambitious targets. Each region includes divisions specialising in school performance, student wellbeing and early childhood support, working with area-based teams to tailor local interventions and practices.
