Job Description:The CompanyAn opportunity exists for a commercially minded and values-driven Finance Business Partner to join a well-established, purpose-led not for profit organisation based in Melbourne's south-east.The RoleThis organisation provides vital services across disability, youth, and community programs throughout Victoria. In this pivotal role, you will act as the key link between finance and operational leaders, supporting informed decision-making through strong financial insight, modelling, and reporting.
You'll also play a leadership role within the finance team, contributing to the implementation of a new costing system to support organisation-wide Business Intelligence reporting.Responsibilities

Partner with operational leaders to deliver financial insights that drive performance and impact
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and utilisation modelling for key service areas
Mentor and support two junior Financial Accountants
Oversee the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Contribute to Board reporting and dashboard development
Drive implementation of a new costing system to strengthen BI and planning capabilities
Leverage advanced Excel for modelling and analysis

Your Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a business partnering role, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
Strong leadership capabilities and a supportive, hands-on approach to team development
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial models and large datasets
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
