In this role, the Finance BP will collaborate with the Manager of Finance Business Partnering to support business units and operational leaders on all finance-related matters. The primary function of this role is to assist the business in setting and achieving financial targets.The Finance BP will ensure the organisation operates with financial coherence, providing senior leaders and stakeholders with a transparent view of their business units' performance. This clarity will highlight the financial impact of their strategic, operational, and trading decisions. Additionally, the role involves close collaboration with the Financial Reporting team to ensure that accounting records are accurate and align with the analytical needs of operational management.Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with the Manager to provide the BU senior management and stakeholders analytical and commercial finance support with a focus on providing strategic financial insights
  • Conduct scenario or “what-if” analysis to understand financial impacts for changes in business-critical assumptions
  • Identify and analyse key financial trends and metrics to update rolling forecast information or key budget assumptions
  • Prepare financial analysis to support business case initiatives and track costs and benefits where required
  • Identify and drive continuous process improvement initiatives including automation of reporting and reduced number of manual reporting
  • Ensure compliance with and adherence to all relevant legislation and policies and procedure
What we're looking for
  • Demonstrated experience in related Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or Financial Planning/Analysis roles
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen to provide insights-based reporting and recommendations
  • Ability to form and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent communications skills to effectively convey financial information and influence decision-making
  • Relevant qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting and/or CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
