This role will be based within the Head Office FP&A Team, partners with senior leaders across Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to provide high-quality financial modelling, analysis and insights. The role plays a key part in supporting strategic and operational decision making, driving process improvements, and to strengthen financial governance.You will be responsible for developing robust financial models, delivering analysis on project valuations, operations performance, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Downer's Zero Harm, client, and business objectives.In your role you will be accountable for:

Education & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experienceMembership with a recognised professional accounting body in Australia (CAANZ / CPA)Experience:5+ years' experience in accounting, business analysis, or finance roles within a medium-to-large commercial organisation or Big 4 professional services firmAdvanced financial modelling experience with proven ability in designing and building complex financial models from scratch in ExcelProficient in data analytics and visualisation. Ability to use large data to forecast outcomes and provide actionable insights using Power BI and Power PointDemonstrated experience in scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and advanced valuation techniquesProven success in partnering senior management stakeholders and relationship buildingStrong background in the use of large ERP's - JDEGS and OneStream preferredDemonstrate ability to establish, lead and manage robust business improvement initiatives and efficienciesSkills and knowledge:Advanced financial modelling skills using complex Excel formulas, Power Query, VBA/macros and automationAdvanced BI/data tools skill (Power BI, SQL, or similar)Strong understanding of project accounting principlesExcellent interpersonal and business partnering skills with finance and operationsSkilled in budgeting and planning along with conducting variance analysis to understand performance driversAbility to collect, distil, analyse and interpret large quantities of transactional and balance data to provide meaningful insightAPPLY NOWTo apply for this great opportunity please click the APPLY NOW button.
