This is a 12-month full time fixed term contract position (with the possibility to extend) that is responsible for coordinating the installation, commissioning and engineering activities on large-scale warehouse automation projects, ensuring that the building, site services and processing equipment are installed and commissioned into full production to meet the client's specifications, within the contract schedule, budget and quality in a safe manner.We offer:

Tasks and Qualifications:The key responsibilities of this role include:Preparing and reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installationsLiaising with clients, direct builders and sub-contractorsProactively promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety and the EnvironmentObtaining necessary materials and resourcesOrganising and supervising the inspection and maintenance of the installed equipmentDay to day management of sub-contractorsCoordinating regular inspection of works for quality assuranceImplement commissioningEnsuring safe installation proceduresSuccessful candidates will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projectsElectrical trade background preferred but not essential.Technical knowledge of material handling equipment would be an advantageThorough knowledge of WHSE requirementsStrong and clear communication skillsProven team leadership skillsStrong computer skills in MS office productsAvailability to travel interstate and overseas (APAC region) when requiredIf you are a motivated and experienced Site Supervisor who enjoys the autonomy and responsibility of overseeing complex projects, then we would love to hear from you.
