Senior Financial Accountant - Renewable Energy

- Own and deliver all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual group and asset-level financial reporting, including consolidation of subsidiaries
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. AASB/IFRS)
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. part-time finance staff, external accountants) to ensure timely reporting across all group entities
- Prepare board-level finance packs, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis with commentary
- Maintain and improve the group consolidation model, tools and reporting templates
- Maintain the corporate financial model
- Support shareholder and investor reporting, including responding to ad hoc data requests
- Oversee intercompany transactions and eliminations
- Work closely with the FP&A and Business Operations functions to align reporting and forecasting
- Assist with audit coordination and year-end statutory reporting
- Ad hoc finance related tasks
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to group reporting or consolidation in a multi-entity environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in AASB/IFRS
- Proficient in Excel; experience with accounting and consolidation systems (e.g. Xero and Power BI) is advantageous
- Proven ability to manage timelines and multiple stakeholders across functions
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and growing organisation
- Experience in renewables or infrastructure sectors
- Exposure to shareholder or investor reporting environments
- Familiarity with financial covenant and debt reporting obligations
