Lockheed Martin Australia is proud to support the Australian UH-60M Black Hawk program and is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Directed Workforce.As the Systems Engineer, you will hold Design Engineering Authority for the UH-60M Black Hawk, with responsibility for avionics systems design, assurance, and sustainment. Working in a multi-disciplinary team, you will deliver engineering solutions that keep this critical Defence capability mission-ready.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop avionics modifications to the Type Design in line with airworthiness requirements
- Evaluate OEM-provided avionics and software changes against local regulations, platform configuration, and operational roles
- Investigate in-service avionics and software issues, supporting resolution and corrective actions
- Manage software assurance activities in accordance with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASRs)
- Support control of UH-60M software load configurations and criticality lists to meet program and regulatory needs
