You’ll be exposed to high-value conversations and decision-making that shape the future of Allens and the legal industry.In this role, which operates at the intersection of strategy, analysis and execution, you will play an integral part in partnering with practice groups across the firm to define and deliver strategic projects with impact. This role offers a pathway to deepen your experience in strategic consulting within the legal industry and to contribute to firm-wide transformation initiatives.Key responsibilities will include:Project support and managementProvide coordination and support for projects undertaken by the team, including collecting, organising and maintaining information and project timelines relevant to the firm's annual practice strategy priority setting cycle.Work collaboratively and proactively with people across the firm to meet project milestones.Market research and analysisConduct research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape and other relevant insights.Analyse and summarise findings to support strategic decision-making.Collaborate with specialists to understand and interpret financial, operational and workforce information.Document preparationPrepare and contribute to the development of presentations, reports and other work product.Ensure documents are accurate, well-organised and professionally presented in line with the Allens style.Stakeholder engagementBuild rapport and communicate effectively across all levels of staff.Coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders.Prepare agendas, capture key outcomes, and ensure follow-up on action items.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.About youTo succeed in this role, you will need:Tertiary qualifications and 1 – 3 years' relevant experience in a strategic, commercial or consulting environment;A developing capability in consulting and strategic problem-solving, and a desire to learn more about the evolution of professional services and the business of law;Strong attention to detail, with an ability to independently manage competing priorities;Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills and ability to think 'outside of the box' to find solutions;The ability to leverage your proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel to convey information and knowledge in a clear, concise and confident manner;A collaborative spirit and ability to build relationships in a complex stakeholder environment; andExperience working both autonomously and as team player, with confidence navigating ambiguity.Your developmentIn joining Allens, you will receive unparalleled learning and development opportunities.
