Reporting into the Sales Manager, this position will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of Foodservice business plans; achieving account profitability, sales targets & margin budgets as well as serving as the primary account contact for End Users & Distributors within SA Foodservice regions.Duties
- Manage existing clients in South Australian territory whilst developing new business opportunities.
- Sell a broad range of product solutions through End Users, Distributors, and contractors while promoting their features and benefits.
- Build strategic long-term relationships by delivering a consultative sales approach, identifying client needs and tailoring value-driven solutions.
- Maximise sales volumes, profit, and market share by setting monthly territory plans and forecasts.
- Take responsibility for the commercial management of local and state-based key accounts or groups.
- Develop and manage existing major end-user accounts, ensuring successful outcomes and consistent growth.
- Provide market insights on sales performance, customer and competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities.
- Adopt a hands-on approach across a broad range of channels, customers, and product portfolios.
- Strong account management skills with 3–5 years’ sales experience in food or related industries.
- Strong supply chain understanding within distribution environments.
- Computer literacy across MS Office applications and integrated manufacturing systems.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Strong oral communication with a customer-focused mindset.
- In-depth product knowledge and market awareness.
- Solid understanding of customer, channel, and product dynamics.
