- Acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients on matters related to the design of hydraulic structures.
- Leading or supporting the development of technical studies locally, including preparation of reports, calculation notes, and technical memos.
- Reviewing and validating specific project deliverables as required.
- Participating in and leading internal and external technical meetings with clients and partners, addressing technical, administrative, and contractual matters in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Organizing and contributing to technical workshops related to project topics.
- Coordinating effectively between client requirements and Tractebel's design teams, distinguishing which topics can be handled locally and which require input or validation from central engineering teams.
- Conducting occasional site visits for inspections, as needed.
- Supporting the Business Development team by participating in client meetings, building relationships with partners, and promoting Tractebel's technical expertise across various domains.
- Assisting in bid preparation, including the development of technical methodologies and estimating effort and timelines for specific tasks.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-focused with strong time management skills.
- Able to work independently on moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision.
- Technically curious and eager to engage with complex engineering challenges.
- Experienced in liaising with engineers, technical experts, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborative team player with sound judgment and initiative
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Fluent in English with good written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to function in teams spread across different geographies.
