This role is critical to ensuring site production targets are met and quality products are delivered to our customers.Reporting to the Mine Scheduling Superintendent your key responsibilities will include:
  • Produce daily and weekly blend plans;
  • Identify and manage interactions with other mining processes;
  • Outline risks / opportunities in the schedule;
  • Work collaboratively with departments to ensure coal uncovery schedules align with blend requirements;
  • Work in field with Coal Mining Supervisors to ensure coal plans and schedules are executed;
  • Liaise with Logistics and Marketing teams to manage production requirements; and
  • Complete coal quality reconciliations.
About YouAs the successful candidate, you will have a tertiary education in Engineering or Geology. You will have demonstrated experience at a coal mining operation and an understanding of coal quality value drivers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential and you will be required to build relationships across numerous site departments and communicate with multiple levels of the workforce.About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
