
Technology Operations Officer

- Provide technical and operational IT support to users via phone, remote access tools, or in-person when necessary.
- Monitor, operate, manage, and restore IT infrastructure components, including hardware and software.
- Install, upgrade, and support IT infrastructure and end-user devices and applications.
- Perform network administration tasks across WAN, LAN, and internet connections.
- Ensure IT security is maintained through daily support and monitoring.
- Perform systems/database administration, including: Server builds, monitoring, tuning, and load balancing. Periodic maintenance, patching, and upgrades. Change control, support, backup, and restoration.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in server and network administration, VOIP technology support, network security and firewall management.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with AWS/Azure cloud-managed services.
- Experience in IT Helpdesk and/or customer service roles.
- Proficient in the installation and configuration of software and operating systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for hardware and software issues.
- Skilled in offering technical support over the phone with a professional approach.
- Ability to develop and prioritise task lists and track activity progress.
- Hands-on experience with Citrix administration, active directory, disaster recovery processes, application and database administration.
