This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a lighting sales professional with established relationships in the architectural and design community, looking to take their career to the next level with a growing, design-focused brand known for its bespoke approach and premium product offering.WHAT’S ON OFFER:
  • Base salary of $90,000–$130,000 + Super, plus uncapped commissions
  • $15,000 car allowance, phone, laptop, and full Tools of Trade package
  • Territory-based role covering Sydney and NSW – completely autonomous

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a client-facing business development role focused on generating new project opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with architects, designers, engineers, and key specifiers. You’ll be representing a bespoke lighting portfolio used in high-end residential, commercial, and architectural developments across NSW.Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing a territory sales plan to grow the lighting specification pipeline
  • Actively sourcing new opportunities through your existing architect/designer network
  • Managing end-to-end project cycles – from design/specification through to delivery
  • Building strong, consultative relationships with architects, lighting designers, and key project stakeholders
  • Offering technical advice, product selection support, and customised lighting solutions
  • Attending design events, architectural showcases, and industry networking functions
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re seeking a lighting-savvy, architecture-connected BDM who can hit the ground running with strong networks and a passion for tailored solutions.
You’ll bring:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in lighting sales or architectural building products
  • An established client base of architects, interior designers, and specifiers
  • Proven ability to manage a territory and drive new project opportunities
  • A deep understanding of the specification process and project lifecycles
  • A consultative sales style, solution-focused mindset, and strong commercial instincts
  • Excellent self-management, presentation, and communication skills
