As the Estimator, you’ll be pivotal in shaping the financial and logistical roadmap of each project. Your insights will ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability from concept through to delivery.Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project drawings, plans, and specifications to produce detailed, accurate cost estimates.
- Scope materials, labor, subcontracting, plant, and other cost components.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, databases, and cost summaries.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and suppliers to verify assumptions and pricing.
- Support tendering processes and respond to client queries during bidding.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and flag any potential risks early.
- Monitor and update estimates based on changes to scope, design, or client inputs.
- Proven Estimator experience in construction—ideally across commercial.
- Sound understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and project delivery.
- Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Problem-solving mind and ability to think critically under pressure.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A solid grasp of OHS practices and environmental considerations.
