- Patrolling public areas: Ensure vehicles are parked safely & legally while maintaining a visible and approachable presence within the community.
- Educating drivers: Share your knowledge of parking rules and regulations, helping drivers understand safe practices and promote compliance.
- Address concerns: Address unattended vehicles & damaged signage while maintaining calm and professionalism, even in challenging situations.
- Promote safe, lawful, and efficient parking by enforcing road rules, ensuring availability for residents and visitors and conducting thorough patrols, especially in school zones.
- Apply a balanced, risk-based approach to enforcement, enhancing community safety and overall amenity.
- Represent the Council in legal proceedings by preparing court briefs, gathering evidence for prosecution and providing testimony when required.
- Somone with excellent attention to detail: A keen eye to spot violations and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Physical fitness: The role involves walking and being active throughout the day.

- A permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week with a 9-Day fortnight
- Peak and non-peak season roster comprising of 38 hours over 7 days per week roster, and 38 hours over 5 days per week roster.
- Commencing salary range from $62,372 - $66,190 per annum (based on skills and experience)
- Plus 12% superannuation
- Saturday/Sunday and public holiday work attract penalties or overtime as approved

- A National Police History Check clearance
- A current "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012 for Paid workers
