Job Category: Health Safety and SustainabilityJob Description:We currently have an opportunity for a Zero Harm Business Partner. Join our Zero Harm team and play a key role in delivering the expert Health & Safety technical advice, management system guidance and practical support to leaders and staff across the division. Reporting to the Head of Zero Harm Performance & Assurance, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.What You'll DoThis role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on all Zero Harm related matters, providing guidance and support to leaders and employeesFacilitate the development of a Zero Harm leadership culture within the team that is focused on manager-led delivery of positive Zero Harm outcomesSupport delivery and implementation of the Zero Harm Strategy and ensure performance objectives / outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframesWork closely with Line of Business leaders, contract managers and employees to ensure understanding and adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsObtain and share Zero Harm knowledge and learning to influence business led proactive risk managementWhat You'll BringFormal work health and safety qualifications (Diploma or Degree qualified in relevant discipline)Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodologyExtensive practical experience within a Workplace Health & Safety or OHS related roleWHS/OHS legislation / application to an organisation with multiple operating contextsStrong skills / experience in conduct of risk assessments and verification of site safety management plans.More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.Why Downer?At Downer, we plan, create, and sustain essential public services across Australia and New Zealand.
