- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the organisation's long-term financial planning and strategy development.
- Lead and mentor junior finance team members to achieve team objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on financial matters.
- A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the public sector.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA accreditation (or equivalent) is highly regarded.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
