Whether they need equipment finance to grow their business, insurance products to protect what matters most, or an award-winning travel agency to book their next getaway, Capricorn can help.About the RoleAs a trusted advisor to the business, you'll deliver actionable financial insights that support operational plans, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. You'll work closely with business leaders to evaluate commercial opportunities, monitor performance, and lead finance projects that create value.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial analysis and insights to support business units, projects, and initiatives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate commercial strategies and enhance Member value.
  • Monitor performance through KPIs and dashboards, driving continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, becoming a trusted finance advisor.
  • Conduct scenario modelling and develop business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Support and develop Anaplan pages for reporting and analysis.
  • Lead and contribute to finance projects aligned with broader strategy.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI and Anaplan knowledge a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.
  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a senior finance role.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
