This leading government department is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant for an immediate start on a 6-month contract. Work closely with project managers, business leads, and finance teams to deliver critical financial insights and support for key IMT services, projects, and initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate cost estimates and financial models for IMT services, including resources, MSPs, and software licences.
- Contribute to financial modelling for new projects and capabilities.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving efficiency within IMT operations.
- Support business case development through cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
- Monitor budgets, forecast expenditures, and report on cost variances.
- Collaborate with teams to optimise cost structures and resource allocation.
- Proven experience in financial management within project-based environments.
- Expertise in financial forecasting, cost modelling, and ROI analysis.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and resource management.
- Proactive and collaborative problem solver.
- Public sector experience is highly regarded.
