With extensive engineering offices and workshops located globally, we are ideally positioned to offer both niche services and bespoke integrated packages to our international customers' needs.Due to an ongoing increase in tendering activities we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to continue our focus on delivering specialised Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Integrity Management & Maintenance services. The role is based in our APAC Headquarters in HendersonThe positionJoining us at an exciting time, this position will be integral in contributing to the further growth and development of EnerMech’s dynamic business. The role is responsible for determining the resources, schedules and costs associated with the delivery of the works, liaising with Subject Matter Experts and other Operational personnel as required. The estimator will leverage a sound understanding of the market to determine competitive sell rates, in line with EnerMech Tendering & Contracting Principles, enabling successful and profitable delivery of Projects for our customers.Requirements

Developing estimates for EnerMech’s Specialised Services (with a focus on Process, Pipeline & Subsea, Industrial Services, Integrity and Maintenance services), considering all aspects to ensure alignment with work scope, schedule, engineering and other project requirements.
Developing and managing approval and distribution of Basis of Estimate and Bid Review/Approval documentation
Performing and reporting on Cost Estimate escalation calculations
Performing the project Cost Risk Analysis and provide analysis reporting
Performing benchmarking on cost estimates and identify and report any deviations and causes
Developing and evaluating Sub-contractor/Vendor RFQ’s
Assisting Cost Controllers to monitor and manage project progress against the budget estimate
Developing, monitoring and reporting cost estimate management of change documentation and approvals
Assisting with corporate reporting & analysis

The successful applicant will have previous experience along with:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Estimating, Engineering or Project Management role, performing similar services
Highly competent in Microsoft Excel
Tertiary qualification in Engineering – preferred
Development of level 2/3 scheduled in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 – preferred
Advanced computer literacy with MS Office and an aptitude to learn
Willingness and drive to learn and develop personally and with the company.
