On average, Satori saves each client more than $5 million every year through reduced fraud, error detection and efficiency gains.Satori’s SaaS platforms, Verify and OK2Pay, apply automation and AI to finance operations - tracking vendor onboarding, duplicate-payment leakage, conflict-of-interest risks, credit card spend and more across the entire transaction spectrum. And this is your invitation to join them in the capacity of Senior Business Development Manager.Who are you?Well, ideally you'll have 5+ years experience selling to the CFO, Financial Controller, Head of Procurement, Head of Risk / Audit / Assurance etc. In addition, people will probably describe you as:
  • A quick and adaptive learner
  • Very articulate and very comfortable discussing complex concepts
  • Strong numeric reasoning with an ability to discern what numbers are telling you - you can detect patterns, interpret P&Ls etc.
  • Very goal and outcomes-focused. You have loads of energy when it comes to achieving your personal and professional objectives and you revel in multi-tasking
  • Comfortable asserting your professional opinion without being overly dominant
  • Moderately extroverted and sociable and happy with going out and meeting new prospects
  • A follower of policies and procedures yet can still be 'creative' in the moment, in order to progress or secure an opportunity
  • 'Cautiously optimistic' - you ask good qualifying questions and you're not led astray easily by prospects
  • A natural leader who displays initiative and 'takes ownership'
  • A strong fact-based person who also calls on their intuition if the facts don't stack up. A logical seller who can read people.
The job? This is not a reactive sales role. It is a senior, strategic position where the remit is to generate new ARR and expand Satori’s footprint across New Zealand and Australia. You'll be responsible for:Building and managing a reliable pipeline, drawing 50% from SDR/marketing leads and 50% from your own efforts.Developing relationships with CFOs, Financial Controllers, Heads of Procurement, Internal Audit, InfoSec and Finance Systems.Demonstrating business finance fluency: AP, vendor onboarding, duplicate-payment leakage, and the distinction between cost-avoidance and cost-savings. ROI cases will be constructed methodically, not improvised.Mapping multi-stakeholder environments to control momentum and consensus.Handling objections strategically - countering “CoP covers us / we use eftsure” by positioning process-layer controls and continuous monitoring, keeping the conversation focused on business outcomes rather than product features.Selling from a vision down - beginning engagement with a broad ROI opportunity. While tactics may evolve into land-and-expand, the initial entry is top-down and strategic. Why would you?Credibility: Represent a trusted leader in financial monitoring with two decades of proven results.Impact: Conversations start with hard ROI - on average, $5 million saved per client.Innovation + Support: Leverage SaaS platforms (Verify, OK2Pay), SDR support, HubSpot CRM and active marketing.Culture: Join a collaborative, professional yet fun environment where initiative is rewarded.Growth Opportunity: Play a central role in shaping the sales function as the company scales.Reward: $140-150k base + commissions delivering $80–100k at target, with accelerators beyond. The culture at Satori is collaborative, open and supportive. The team enjoys what they do, values diversity, takes ownership of outcomes, and always finds a way to deliver exceptional service. Their values are simple: own customer happiness, enjoy what we do, trust and integrity, find a way, and respect differences.Interested? You know you are, right?
