So, if you like the sound of working for a company that's dedicated to improving the lives of both their people and customers - we think you'd look good at Specsavers.The Role & TeamWe're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting directly to the Financial Reporting Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in providing commercially focused financial accounting support to our support office operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the ANZ investment register - accurately recording monthly movements, posting journals and preparing reconciliations
Managing the ANZ Loan portfolio - reconciling monthly movements, preparing reports, journals and ensuring timely responses to stakeholder queries
Partnering with Audiology, Optical, and Recruitment teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit processes

CA/CPA qualified with demonstrated experience within a financial/management accounting role
Strong communication skills and effective stakeholder management
Intermediate excel skills
High attention to detail
Experienced in managing high-volume financial transactions and reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely reporting and compliance
