-Success Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool of Finance and Administration Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.Success PS is located in the City of Cockburn. Approximately 583 students are enrolled in our school, with 72 students enrolled in our education support program and 511 in our mainstream program. Approximately 20% of children come from homes where English is an Additional Language (EAL/D). Successful applicants will coordinate financial and administration tasks and undertake financial planning, monitoring, research, and analysis to meet the outcomes of the school’s business plan.The ideal applicant will assist the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) with procurement and asset purchases and help prepare budget documents for the school’s Board and Finance Committee. Ideally you will also manage the school's Hire of Facilities program, including building and maintaining relationships with facility hire customers. Additionally, you will support the management of the school's human resources, including staff selection, appointment processes, and processing relief payments for casual staff through (Human Resource Management Information System) HRMIS.It is highly desirable for applicants to have knowledge of a variety of computer systems and be highly organised to meet stringent reporting deadlines plus be experienced working in a busy administrative environment. - Demonstrated sound team management and supervisory skills including the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Demonstrated sound written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team environment and develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated well developed computer skills, including the ability to create, operate, extract reports and manipulate databases, spreadsheets and systems.
