- Design and implement Azure governance frameworks including policy design, naming conventions, tagging strategies, cost management, and compliance monitoring.
- Define and enforce Azure Policy and management group hierarchies across enterprise subscriptions.
- Build AI-driven and automated self-service provisioning solutions using tools such as Azure Automation, Azure Open AI, and Logic Apps.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using PowerShell, Bicep, and Terraform.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and security teams to ensure alignment with Microsoft’s Well-Architected Framework and enterprise standards.
- Support and enhance BAU (Business-as-Usual) Azure infrastructure operations, including monitoring, patching, and environment lifecycle management.
- Apply foundational systems administration skills across Windows, Linux, and Active Directory to troubleshoot and support cloud-hosted workloads.
- Continuously improve internal processes, reusable templates, and automation patterns to drive operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead technical workshops, and participate in architecture review sessions.
- Solid hands-on experience with Azure Policy, management groups, and enterprise governance models (Blueprints experience is a bonus but not required).
- Strong understanding and practical application of the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework.
- Experience building Azure landing zones, automation templates, and self-service environments.
- Proficient in scripting with PowerShell, Bicep, and familiar with Terraform.
- Strong understanding of core Azure services – compute, networking, identity, storage, monitoring, and security.
- Familiarity with or exposure to AI-driven automation in Azure (e.g., OpenAI, Logic Apps, ChatOps).
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for infrastructure deployments.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration, along with Active Directory fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
