- Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in a relevant discipline (Aeroskills - Avionics, Mechanical, Structures etc.) from a recognised institution
- Appropriate aircraft trade qualifications (eg. trade papers, apprenticeship, indentures etc)
- Qualifications and Experience that enable a Military Aircraft Maintenance License (MAML) to be held.
- Skills, knowledge and experience (SKE) of an AME 3
- Substantial Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of at least one of the following regulatory frameworks: DASA, DCMA.
- Ideally you will demonstrate relevant experience (to be assessed for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) within 6 months of commencement) (highly desirable)

Employment may be contingent on the satisfactory result of criminal and/or other background screens, which require the collection and transfer of personal information.Your responsibilities will include:Supervisors are authorised by the Quality Manager (QM) (or delegate), and are directly accountable to the Responsible Manager (RM) for the duties and responsibilities they undertake.Key responsibilities include:
- Carry out the duties and responsibilities of a Supervisor and Certifying Staff in accordance with the requirements of the referenced OIP.
- Support the Responsible Manager (RM) by ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities carried out within the unit, under the MO, are done so in accordance with the requirements of the 16 Avn Bde MOE
- Perform Aircraft Battle Damage Repair (ABDR) assessment and repair when authorised.
- Manage explosive ordnance appropriately.
- Recording of Standard and Non-Standard Repair.
- Repair Reports for submission to the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Management Support Organisations (CAM-SOs).
