- Develop a detailed understanding of the Australasia region’s needs and coverage, through analytics, market studies, product / pricing recommendations.
- Identify, recommend and action expansion opportunities across all product types and sales channels, liaising with and involving the wider IPDA team as necessary.
- Liaise with and influence the wider business, ensuring stakeholders are aware of your plans, project and strategy. Ensure assistance and insight is acquired where needed.
- Provide e-commerce leadership and operational excellence for the Australasia region.
- Manage the sales revenue targets for the online retail channel (own website and marketplaces), delivering on short-term and long-term plans, including delivery against budget.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and journey from landing on our own website or buying on a marketplace, through to product delivery. Customer satisfaction will be measured by customer ratings.
- In partnership with the Head of Consumer Automotive, redevelop and optimise retail channels in the Australasia region.
- Support the launch and/ or ongoing sales of new /existing products in retail and ePartner sales channels as required.
- Build a network of industry relationships to develop new commercial opportunities
- Operational oversight
- Support the Head of Consumer Automotive in proactively identifying and actioning efficiencies and cost savings to optimise profit margins.
- Develop local relationships with key suppliers (e.g. print, distribution, data providers) to enable effective on-the-ground management as required.
- Seek and implement efficiency gains internally through improved processes and/ or systems as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in e-commerce management with a track record of delivering sales growth.
- Experience in the retail or consumer oriented/product industries a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms — Shopify Plus highly preferred
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Proficiency in customer management tools (Gorgias, Bloomreach).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
