We’re hiring for a hands-on Forklift Operator to join a national business that specialises in cleaning, repair, and storage of ISO tanks and containers. This is a full-time role in a busy yard where your reliability, loyalty, and work ethic are truly valued.What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate heavy forklifts (10T–40T), including top loaders with twist locks and twin pick
- Pick, receive, and store tanks/containers accurately and safely
- Load and unload transport vehicles (including placarding with drivers)
- Assist with general yard work (this is not just a forklift role)
- Complete paperwork and report any damage or safety issues
- Follow site safety processes, wear correct PPE, and participate in inspections
- Solid forklift experience in a high-traffic yard (10T–40T preferred)
- Experience with top loaders, twist locks, and twin pick forklifts
- Happy to step off the forklift and help with cleaning or yard tasks
- Reliable and punctual — someone who shows up and pulls their weight
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- Clean personal record (must have no current DVOs or unresolved legal issues)
