Join a leading national business specialising in cleaning, repair, and storage of ISO tanks and containers. We’re after a hands-on Forklift Operator who’s ready to get stuck in and be part of a busy yard team where reliability and hard work are genuinely appreciated.Ongoing stable longterm positionThe role
- Operate heavy forklifts (10T–40T), including top loaders and twin pick with twist locks
- Pick, receive, and store tanks and containers safely and accurately
- Load and unload trucks (including placarding with drivers)
- Help out with yard and cleaning duties — this isn’t a sit-on-the-forklift-all-day role
- Keep paperwork up to date and report any damage or safety concerns
- Follow all site safety rules, wear PPE, and take part in inspections
- Proven forklift experience in a high-traffic yard (10T–40T preferred)
- Confidence using top loaders, twist locks, and twin pick forklifts
- Willingness to pitch in with other tasks when needed
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- A solid safety focus and eye for detail
- A clean personal record (no current DVOs or unresolved legal issues)
