The Company:This multi-disciplined firm is in pole position presently for winning projects in the GC21 government contract space. From concept through to completion their depth and knowledge of successfully, winning small to major D&C build project’s ($500,00 to $40 Million), hold’s them very much in a sought after position, allowing them to enter niche market’s and to continuously evolve.The Role:As a Junior Estimator you will be working closely with the Estimating manager to help with a large level of tenders, typically these projects include “Schools projects, NSW public works and Aged Care projects."The successful applicant will be a committed individual, seeing the opportunity as a stepping stone to grow further and trained further, by highly successful estimators in a fast paced team. You will be ambitious and driven, with a “go get” attitude and energy, looking to improve yourself and add value to an already successful firm.Key Responsibilities:

Supervise subcontractor tender prices in a timely manner.
Take off’s
Bills of Quantities
Packaging
Manage Proposal documentation and drawings
Reading plans
Support the Estimating Manager in the preparation of tenders.
Prepare take off’s and estimates.

To be Successful:

Construction Management or Project Management degree
2 years experience working for a recognised Australian Building Contractor (Head Contractor) in a similar capacity.
Exposure to Buildsoft / Cubit - Highly advantageous
Experience managing end to end tender process - Highly advantageous
