Payroll Officer

Lawson Elliott is excited to be working alongside an outstanding organisation who is looking to welcome a confident and experienced Payroll Officer to join their team through until January 2026! This company is a leader in their field, going through considerable growth and are now looking for someone to take their business to the next level. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate, well driven and has a willingness to develop and succeed in a fast-paced environment.Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

Complete end-to-end payroll processing
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Manage payroll processing inbox
Interpretation and application of modern awards
Prepare forms and reports in relation to payroll deductions
Evaluations and enhancement of payroll processes
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have:

At least 4+ years of experience in a similar role or with project payroll experience
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in TechnologyOne desirable
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Sound knowledge around Industrial Awards and Agreements
