Financial Accountant

• Immediate start role based in Perth CBD
• Ongoing assignment with the potential to become permanent.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee reconciliations, including bank accounts and general ledger balances.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and audit requirements.
• Provide financial advice and insights to stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting practices relevant to the not-for-profit industry.

• Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA
• 3 years minimum post qualification experience.
• Experience with financial reporting and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• An understanding of financial operations in the not-for-profit industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
