In this role, at Yamagen Japanese restaurant, you’ll work alongside Adam Lane to help manage a section of the kitchen operation, ensuring that food preparation and service meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining impeccable hygiene standards and practices across the kitchen.
- Training, mentoring, and developing junior kitchen staff to foster a culture of excellence.
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of food to meet the expectations of our diverse clientele.
- Collaborating with the team across our multifaceted kitchens to ensure smooth operations during peak times and special events.

- Reporting directly to the Executive Chef Adam Lane, It is important you are calm under pressure and you promote a positive working environment for your team.
- Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards, conducting regular checks to guarantee the freshness, taste, and visual appeal of all dishes leaving the kitchen.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, communicating effectively to ensure efficient teamwork, smooth operations, and a harmonious kitchen environment in one of the Gold Coast's leading Japanese culinary establishments. A keen eye for detail
