- Drafting liability risk assessments and identify commercial risks and treatment methodologies;
- Developing procurement artefacts such as the approach to market/procurement strategy (ETP), evaluation plan & report and manage the procurement schedule with the Head/Lead Scheduler;
- Drafting contractual artefacts for complex sustainment activities, including but not limited to Conditions of Tender (CoT), Conditions of Contract (CoC) and tailor a contract that will suit the Statement of work (SOW) and long term flexible requirements of the procurement activity based on the ASDEFCON contracting documentation;
- Providing accurate and timely commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders;
- Supporting tender clarifications, in particular those aspects concerning contractual and commercial and financial elements of tenders;
- Supporting negotiations with the prime contractor/s.
- You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
- Formal contracting qualifications i.e. Certificate IV in Contracting and Procurement /or higher or equivalent;
- Strong understanding of probity and evaluation in a commercial environment;
- Demonstrated experience in procurement/contract management administration, practices and processes in Government (Commonwealth or State/Territory);
- The ability to identify contract management risks, and develop and implement mitigation strategies in regards to the Risk Management of contracts;
- Experience in the management of key stakeholder relationship and the ability to provide Commercial advice and guidance, specifically in relation to procurement and contract management.
- Extensive knowledge of Commonwealth procurement regulations and policies such as the PGPA Act, procurement connected policies, Commonwealth Procurement Rules etc;
- Extensive experience in ASDEFCON suite of contracting templates or equivalent complex contracting documentation.
- Previous experience in the CASG / Defence.
