Platform Engineers, Various Sites, 12 Months

• Develop and document detailed infrastructure design specifications and diagrams
• Integrate cloud services into infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• Build and maintain continuous integration (CI) and automated pipeline capabilities
• Use Kubernetes and container technologies for enhanced deployment efficiency
• Collaborate closely with software developers, security engineers, and architects to enable seamless DevSecOps operations
• Lead or support Zarf CI integration, automated builds, and secure code practices
• Contribute to testing, integration, onboarding, and productionisation of critical Defence platforms

• SFIA Level 4–5 in Platform Engineering
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC), automation tools, and scripting
• Proven ability to manage virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Strong understanding of cyber-secure tooling, secure-by-design principles, and integration testing
• Familiarity with Kubernetes-based deployment and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum environments

• Background in machine learning or AI systems integration
• Experience working with Defence networks, air-gapped systems, or high-security environments
• Prior exposure to DevSecOps platform design and transition-to-service documentation
