- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in motor vehicles.
- Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Test drive and conduct post-repair checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Carry out engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and steering repairs.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
- Provide accurate estimates for repair time and costs when required.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with environmental regulations.
- Assist and mentor junior staff or apprentices when required.
- Liaise with customers professionally, explaining repair work and providing technical advice when needed.
- Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and a clean working environment.
- Certificate III or Higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic, preferably in crash repair or accident-related mechanical work.
- Valid drivers licence
- Proven ability in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
