Access theAbout the roleFixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide high quality, effective, efficient, professional executive support based on accurate and timely information to the Director of Cardiology. This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the role.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
  • Prepare high quality typewritten correspondence and documents both administrative and clinical for the Director of Cardiology and the Department as required and timely distribution of such material after signature.
  • Maintain the Leave Register, process and keep copies of Consultant and Registrar leave, ensuring that leave dates do not conflict.
  • Maintain a register of Mandatory Training completed by medical staff within the department and feedback to staff when training is due.
  • Assist the Cardiology Department's administration staff on an ad hoc basis when required by the Senior Administration Officer.
