- Develop comprehensive functional requirements documentation that defines how all components of the ReadyTech Government enterprise solution should work together
- Create detailed business requirements and functional specifications for critical solution capabilities including user management, data integration, document workflows, and business processes
- Define cross-functional business process standards and requirements to ensure consistency across the enterprise solution
- Lead detailed business process mapping and requirements analysis between SynergySoft, CouncilWise, and ReadyCommunity to enable successful customer migrations
- Provide business analysis expertise for critical & high-priority customer implementations, ensuring successful reference cases moving forward
- Establish business analysis methodologies, templates and best practices that can be adopted by the broader product team
- Create comprehensive business process documentation showing how all ReadyCommunity solution components should work together, establishing the master requirements framework for our enterprise solution
- Define detailed data requirements, business rules, and process flows for cross-functional capabilities
- Establish consistent patterns and standards for how data, workflows, and business processes should flow between solution components
- Lead detailed business process mapping and gap analysis between SynergySoft and ReadyCommunity to ensure safe customer migrations
- Support the Dardanup Council implementation with business analysis expertise and requirements definition
- Develop templates, methodologies, and guidance to build long-term business analysis capability within our team
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure functional requirements align with product roadmaps and user needs
- Work with the Senior Design Manager to ensure business requirements support exceptional user experiences
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders to capture and validate business needs
- Document business requirements clearly, with detailed functional specifications for implementation teams
- Mentor and develop business analysis capabilities within the broader product team through knowledge sharing
- Exceptional business analysis capabilities with demonstrated experience creating comprehensive functional specifications for enterprise software
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, structured documentation
- Strong facilitation skills for requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder validation sessions
- Ability to balance ideal business solutions with technical constraints and implementation realities
- Advanced experience in business process mapping and workflow analysis
- Demonstrated ability to understand and document complex business rules, calculations, and government regulations
- Strong data analysis and data mapping skills with experience in system integrations
- Systems thinking with the ability to understand how different business processes and systems interact
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Deep understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices for enterprise software projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of functional specification approaches and business requirements documentation standards
- Strong understanding of data analysis, process mapping, and business rule documentation techniques
- Solid familiarity with local government workflows and processes, with deep local government experience highly valued
- Knowledge of enterprise software integration patterns and business process optimization
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and governance in local government settings
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and how BA work fits within product development cycles
- Appreciation for the unique challenges and requirements of local government software systems
- 8+ years of business analysis experience with at least 5 years in enterprise or local government software environments
- Demonstrated experience creating detailed functional specifications and business requirements for complex enterprise systems
- Track record of successful system implementation projects and business process improvement initiatives
- Experience with data mapping, gap analysis, and migration requirements for system transitions
- Background in defining cross-system business process standards and integration requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both strategic business analysis and detailed specification creation
- Experience in B2B or local government software strongly preferred, with local government software experience a huge plus
- Proven track record of translating complex stakeholder needs into clear, actionable business requirements
- Experience collaborating with product management, development teams, and implementation consultants to deliver successful solutions
- Familiarity with financial, property management, or regulatory systems is highly desirable
