Job Description:About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer who can combine strong engineering expertise with analytical and data modelling skills to deliver high-quality solutions across our data platforms. This is a hands-on role working closely with stakeholders, where you'll shape, design and deliver end-to-end data solutions.What you'll be doing

Designing, building and maintaining robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools.
Developing and optimising data lakes and data warehouse solutions in Azure.
Working closely with analysts and business teams to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose data models.
Supporting Power BI developers with efficient data structures, DAX modelling and best practices.
Driving data quality, performance optimisation, and governance across platforms.
Collaborating with Product Owners, Testers, and other Engineers in an agile environment.

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Data Engineer (5+ years ideally in enterprise environments).
Strong skills in:

Azure Data Factory
Azure Data Lake
Azure Synapse / SQL Data Warehousing
ETL / ELT design and optimisation
Solid understanding of Power BI data modelling (DAX, star/snowflake schema, measures, relationships).
Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills - able to translate technical detail into business outcomes.
Bonus: experience with Python, Databricks or Spark for data processing.
