Seeking a Technology Generalist for ICT Migration Projects - Contract to Feb 2026Are you a versatile IT professional who enjoys both the planning and hands-on execution of technical projects?We are looking for an experienced technical officer to join a Government Department focused on a major departmental relocation. This is a unique opportunity to work on a project-based role, where you'll be instrumental in planning and executing the seamless migration of ICT services and infrastructure.What You Will Do

Lead the planning and execution of user and system migrations during departmental relocations.
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to import servers and other resources from other government departments.
Assist in developing and mentoring infrastructure staff on newly migrated services and systems.
Provide technical input and contribute to the plan for server environments and hyper-converged infrastructure.
Liaise with vendors and clients to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.

What You Need to Apply for This Role

Demonstrated experience in planning and executing ICT projects, particularly system and service migrations.
A broad understanding of core technologies, including Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and Microsoft technologies (including MS Server, AOVPN, RDS/Windows365, DNS, DHCP, SCCM (Including MOE management of server environment), Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune and Autopilot).
The ability to contribute to and follow through with a plan, performing hands-on work as required.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and vendors.
