GCISolutions has a 10-year contract to deliver essential water and wastewater services to the City of Gold Coast. We deliver a diverse range of work including improvement projects, refurbishment and renewal programmes and planned and reactive maintenance. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our team on the Gold Coast QLD.What you'll do
  • You'll play a key role in project planning and construction meetings, ensuring stakeholder concerns are addressed early and effectively
  • Manage day-to-day stakeholder interactions, including enquiries, complaints, and access negotiations
  • Develop and implementing community engagement plans, managing proactive communications such as works notifications
  • Visit work sites and undertake desktop studies to assess potential community impacts
  • Attend and contribute to regular customer and community engagement team meetings
  • Maintain the program's stakeholder database and image library

What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in infrastructure, water, or government projects is highly desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • IAP2 certification (International Association for Public Participation) is preferred but not essential
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Hold a valid C Class Driving License
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities
