As an Account Executive, you’ll step into a warm portfolio and work closely with the Director to deliver exceptional outcomes across a mix of SME and mid-market clients. You’ll also have account management support on larger accounts, so you can focus on strategy, relationships, and real client impact.About the companyThis is not your typical brokerage. With offices in Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast, the team operates with a hybrid model, built on trust and performance (not clock-watching). Everyone in the business has been there for 3+ years—a testament to the culture, stability, and leadership.What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of a commercial portfolio and deliver client outcomes end-to-end
- Develop tailored solutions for unique and complex risks
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with high-value clients
- Collaborate with your team to deliver seamlessly across service, placement, and advice
- Contribute to ongoing business growth through retention and referrals
- Salary up to $120,000 + super, depending on experience
- Guaranteed bonus (10%+ typical) – not just “discretionary”

You're a confident communicator, a sharp thinker, and a natural relationship-builder. You know insurance inside-out—but more importantly, you know how to make it make sense to clients.
What you'll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in commercial broking
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with a knack for anticipating needs
- Business smarts – you get how risk, margin, and value intersect
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to step up for the team
- Preferably based on the Sunshine Coast
- Brisbane-based? You’ll need to visit the Coast office 1–2 days per month
- Remote-friendly for experienced candidates in Mackay or nearby regions
- Hybrid model available – flexibility is the default here
