QC Officer

• Checking quantities/unique identification numbers of packaging materials, components labels etc prior to issue to production.
• QC Complete first QC check & routine QC checks in production, including weight, labelling, packaging, leak checks.
• Inspection of bulk bags for foreign objects before hanging in production
• Reconciliation of all materials used by production at the completion of each assembly order and accurately completing paperwork
• Perform basic quality control tests on production batch samples and recording of results in database (Organoleptic assessments).
• Completing swabbing of production equipment and lines to verify allergen clean.
• Monitoring product quality at the line and production processes to ensure staff are complying with GMP practises.
• Monitoring completion of production paperwork to ensure staff are completing paperwork in real time.
• As required, attending to quality concerns raised in production, escalation of major issues to QA Manager as required.
• As required, isolating non-conforming product/ components/ packaging, following quarantine process and raising a non-conformance report.

• Production/QC experience in the Pharmaceutical industry - not analytical QC.
• Organised and able to work autonomously.
• High attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Competent in outlook, word & excel, ability to learn custom ERP software.
• Able to complete simple calculations (reconciliation of materials used).
