Working in an Agile environment, this role collaborates with vendors, product owners, development teams and other stakeholders, defining and validating complex business requirements, and working towards delivering effective and innovative solutions to meet those requirements. Operating at the intersection of technology and end-user needs, the Senior Functional Analyst leads and is responsible for the design, configuration, and optimisation of enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with the University's strategic objectives. As one of the leaders of the team, this role maybe responsible for supervising a team/squad/s and independently lead initiatives. The Senior Functional Analyst will be required to report and manage assigned tasks and sub-projects for both themselves and other Functional Analysts, and to effectively engage and communicate with staff at all levels across the University.
Detailed DescriptionAbout YouAs the Senior Functional Analyst, you will have:
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Audience Builder is a MUST
TO HAVE.
  • Strong communication skills with proven experience mentoring and leading a small team of Marketing Cloud Functional Analysts.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML, and CSS for advanced personalisation across email, SMS, and cloud pages.
  • Proven ability to build integrations with external systems and other enterprise platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading initiatives within cross-functional squads.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and deriving actionable insights from performance metrics.
  • A proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and process improvement, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Solid knowledge of data privacy and security standards in enterprise environments.

Remuneration/SalaryBase Salary Range: $140,965 to $147,678 pa (HEW 9)This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.We offer a comprehensive range of benefits designed to support professional growth, personal well-being, and work-life balance.
