As the Lead - Data Products, you will be responsible for the strategy, delivery, governance, and lifecycle management of Lendi Group's core curated and governed data assets. This includes key foundational products such as out Customer and Property Bureaus and gold-layer data products that support analytics, AI/ML, reporting, and operational use cases.You will oversee the development of certified semantic models in PowerBI, management of data transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud, and work closely with data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to ensure consistency, quality, and reusability across the enterprise.You will also be accountable for leading the AI Native transformation roadmap for the Data Supergroup, including initiatives that enable agentic workflows, automation, and intelligent data products. Additionally, you will own the enterprise PowerBI capability within the Microsoft Fabric platform, including platform maintenance, evolution of reporting architecture, and the strategic roadmap for expanding reporting assets in close partnership with the Analytics & Data Science Lead and Business Performance Lead.This role is central to Lendi's transition to an AI Native organisation, providing trusted, scalable data products that serve as the foundation for intelligent automation and next-generation insight delivery.Job DescriptionData Product Ownership
  • Define and lead the roadmap for Lendi's curated data product portfolio.
  • Own the design, evolution, and lifecycle of key silver/gold layer assets including customer, broker, property, and performance domains.
  • Ensure semantic and transformation logic reflects accurate, governed business definitions.
Technical Enablement & Platform Oversight
  • Oversee the build and optimisation of dbt Cloud pipelines that transform raw data into reusable, production-grade datasets.
  • Guide the development and management of certified PowerBI semantic models within the Microsoft Fabric platform, including DAX metrics, RLS, and standardised hierarchies.
  • Lead PowerBI maintenance and run operations, while setting the roadmap for scalable, governed, and AI-augmented reporting products.
AI Native Roadmap & Transformation
  • Lead the Data Supergroup's AI Native roadmap, delivering enablers for automation, agentic data use, and intelligent decisioning.
  • Partner with platform, analytics, data science, and governance leads to identify and deliver AI-ready datasets and use cases.
  • Embed AI/ML readiness and GPT-enablement into curated data products and reporting suites.
Data Governance & Quality
  • Drive enterprise-wide data governance, metadata standards, and lifecycle practices.
  • Ensure trust, quality, discoverability, and reusability across all data products.
  • Champion shared definitions, metric consistency, and regulatory compliance.
Collaboration & Data Activation
  • Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders across Product, Distribution, Growth, and Finance.
  • Translate business needs into high-impact data product solutions.
  • Partner with Analytics & Data Science to productionise model inputs and enrich analytical use cases.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in data product, analytics engineering, or BI leadership roles.
  • Proven experience with dbt Cloud, SQL, and PowerBI semantic model development.
  • Experience managing PowerBI within enterprise platforms like Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong understanding of Medallion architecture and production-grade data modelling practices.
  • Proven experience leading data governance frameworks and enterprise data stewardship.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver AI/ML-enabling data products and support intelligent automation.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into structured data products.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or large-scale multi-channel environments (including retail and partner ecosystems) highly desirable.
